Start here
Begin on MAIN as Rank-0, link your website account to reach Rank-1, protect your first home with a starter claim, and earn Rank-2 through another player’s sponsorship.
Quick start
- Join MAIN as Rank-0 and play actively for five minutes.
- Run
/website, create an account, and become Rank-1. - Place your first Chest or Trapped Chest in the Overworld to create your reusable starter claim.
- Use
/wallet, trade with NPCs, or build qualified NPC workplaces. - When a Rank-2 player trusts you, accept their sponsorship to become Rank-2.
Progression from Rank-0 to Rank-2
Rank-0
Reach it: Join without a linked website account.
Survival is available, but probation limits risky tools, private channels, waypoints, and claims.
Rank-1
Reach it: Link your website account.
You gain one reusable starter claim. Probation still applies.
Rank-2
Reach it: Accept sponsorship from an existing Rank-2 player.
Ordinary probation ends. Travel commands and Rank-1 sponsorship become available.
The server abbreviates Rank-0, Rank-1, and Rank-2 as R0, R1, and R2. These ranks are access tiers, not display titles. Rank-0 and Rank-1 chat is local to about 64 blocks. Probation restricts buckets, pistons, TNT, fire-setting items, dangerous explosives, loading restricted items into Dispensers, and common private-channel commands. These ordinary limits are lifted at Rank-2.
Register and reach Rank-1
Play on MAIN for five active minutes, then:
- Run
/website. - Choose Create Account.
- Enter the six-digit code at smpminecraft.net.
- Create your password.
The code works once and expires after ten minutes. It is tied to your authenticated Minecraft identity; never share it. A successful link moves you from Rank-0 to Rank-1.
Sponsorship and Rank-2
Sponsorship is a player-to-player trust step, not an automatic play-time rank.
- The sponsor and target must be online.
- The sponsor must be Rank-2 and runs
/sponsor <player>. - The target must be Rank-1 and runs
/sponsor acceptwithin ten minutes. - Acceptance promotes the target to Rank-2 and records the sponsorship lineage.
There is no sponsorship cooldown. A Rank-2 player may sponsor other eligible Rank-1 players.
Your Rank-1 starter claim
If you are Rank-1 or Rank-2 and do not already have a starter claim, placing a Chest or Trapped Chest in the MAIN Overworld creates a 9 × 9 × 9 protected area: four blocks out from the chest on each side, one block below it, and seven blocks above it.
- The claim may be reshaped, but its volume cannot exceed 729 blocks.
/starterclaim statusshows its state./starterclaim reshape <width> <height> <depth>reshapes it around its current center.- Abandoning it lets a later chest create your replacement claim.
- If the area overlaps another claim, the chest remains but the claim is not created.
Useful commands
These commands are available through Rank-0–Rank-2:
/mail- Open long-form direct and group mail.
/messagesis its compatibility alias. /website- Create or recover your website account.
/wallet- View carried and banked CC and nearby money services.
/ticket [message]- Contact staff.
/days- View your in-game day count.
/achievements- View completed achievements.
/progress <achievement>- View your private achievement progress.
/title list|select|clear- Manage an eligible display title.
Rank-1 and Rank-2 can use the starter-claim commands above.
Rank-2 gains /spawn, /home, and
/sethome; each has its own ten-minute cooldown.
Rank-2 also gains /sponsor <player>.
Mail and parcels
Run /mail to open the same long-form direct and
group conversations available through the authenticated
website. Recipients may be offline, messages may contain up to
2,000 characters, and reading them does not interfere with
Minecraft's native /msg, /tell, or
/w chat.
Message delivery
/messagesremains an alias, but/mailis the primary command.- Unread notifications arrive as carrier pigeons while you are above ground during daylight.
- Pending notifications are delivered separately, with up to ten offered to the game at a time.
Sending a parcel
- Open a new direct message or reply inside a direct conversation.
- Hold the item or complete stack in your main hand and choose Send + Parcel.
- Review the declared value and postage, then confirm. Postage is at least 1 CC and is paid from your banked CC.
- Each sender may dispatch one parcel per Minecraft day. Non-empty bundles and container inventories are refused.
Parcel delivery waits until the recipient is online during daylight, above ground on solid land, and away from nearby hostile mobs. A courier places a physical box that only the addressed player can open. Break your box within 60 seconds to receive the stack and a receipt; ignored or disturbed boxes are returned and retried on a later Minecraft day. Reading the accompanying message on the website never collects the parcel.
Time and achievements
A full, unskipped Minecraft day normally lasts about
20 real minutes. /days counts
distinct MAIN in-game days during which you were present; it is
not a total-hours counter.
Currency and banking
Money is measured in Copper Coins (CC).
- A physical coin can hold many CC while occupying one inventory slot.
- Right-click a coin or run
/walletto open the same wallet. - Carried CC and your numeric bank balance are separate.
- Deposits, withdrawals, and statements require a qualified Banker or bank vault. Remote
/walletaccess can still show the balance. - Vendors accept carried CC first and natural Emeralds at 1 Emerald = 320 CC, returning physical CC change when needed.
Economy NPCs
Right-click a qualified NPC to use its service.
- Vendor
- Buys and sells profession-related items from shared market stock.
- Banker
- Deposits and withdraws physical CC and shows balances and statements.
- Cook
- Sells four rotating foods per real-world day, with limited servings.
- Broker
- Provides physical access to market funding and release requests.
- Innkeeper
- Provides the server’s paid sleeping service.
- Wandering Trader
- Rotates unusual offers and a featured Lost-Art Artifact.
Managed NPCs have persistent names, roles, and workplace profiles. Curing a Zombie Villager preserves that identity. Death retires it permanently. Vendors, Brokers, and Cooks keep daytime business hours; Innkeepers remain available. Qualified Banker and bank-vault access remain available even while the Banker follows its cosmetic schedule.
Creating an NPC workplace
You can establish economy services outside generated villages. This creates a publicly usable service; it does not make the Villager or market stock private.
For an artificial Vendor, Broker, or Cook workplace:
- Give an adult Villager the correct claimed workstation.
- Provide its claimed bed within 16 blocks and a normal door within 12 blocks.
- Keep the workstation and bed at light level 8 or higher.
- Leave a clear path to the workstation and bed.
- Keep the setup valid for about 60 seconds while it registers.
A Banker needs the same structural pieces, but qualification does not depend on Villager pathfinding. A valid station receives a persistent name and role label. A temporarily blocked qualified station has about a 60-second grace period.
Special workplaces
- Banker
- Lectern directly above a Gold Block, plus an Ender Chest within 4 blocks.
- Broker
- Lectern directly above a Waxed Copper Block.
- Cook
- Smoker directly above Bricks, a Barrel within 4 blocks, and a Campfire or Soul Campfire within 6 blocks.
- Innkeeper
- Bookshelf directly above an Iron Block and at least two beds within 15 blocks; the nearest eligible adult Villager takes the role.
Commodity Vendor workstations
- Armorer
- Blast Furnace
- Butcher
- Smoker
- Cartographer
- Cartography Table
- Cleric
- Brewing Stand
- Farmer
- Composter
- Fisherman
- Barrel
- Fletcher
- Fletching Table
- Leatherworker
- Cauldron directly above Brown Glazed Terracotta
- Librarian
- Lectern
- Mason
- Stonecutter
- Shepherd
- Loom
- Toolsmith
- Smithing Table
- Weaponsmith
- Grindstone
An artificial Vendor may still report a regional licensing limit if nearby markets already cover too much of the overall item catalog.
How NPCs level
Vendors and Cooks have 25 levels. Their trade score belongs to the NPC’s identity, profession, and market context.
- Vendors: Purchases and sales raise trade score. Higher levels unlock more profession-related wares; every level adds something.
- Cooks: Food orders raise their level. Higher levels unlock more foods and improve prepared-food hunger and saturation. Levels 21–25 can add a short Speed, Haste, Jump Boost, Night Vision, or Water Breathing effect.
- Wandering Traders: Purchases level the persistent Trader identity on a slower curve. Higher levels improve value, rarity, and enchantment quality. Confining a Trader can make it lose levels and leave.
Moving a Vendor or Cook to a different artificial market creates a separate profile there. Returning it to an earlier context restores that context’s old level. Bankers, Brokers, and Innkeepers do not gain trade levels.
Sheriffs and Iron Golems
Sheriffs are uniformed, friendly Pillagers that patrol between loaded Villagers and attack hostile mobs threatening the village. A village cluster with a qualified Banker receives at least one Sheriff even when its population would otherwise be too small.
Attacking a Banker marks the attacker as wanted. Nearby Sheriffs remember and pursue that player until the player dies. Sheriffs do not intentionally attack ordinary players, Villagers, Iron Golems, or one another.
Iron Golems and Sheriffs have persistent combat identities and 25 combat levels. They earn threat score after contributing meaningful damage to an enemy that then dies. Stronger enemies award more score, and Sheriff awards are multiplied by four.
As an Iron Golem levels, it gains maximum health, armor, attack damage, and movement speed. Its visible name shows its level. Iron Golems automatically repair one health point every five seconds during daylight, and players may still repair them with Iron Ingots.
Quick help
- No website code
- Keep playing actively on MAIN until the five-minute requirement is met, then reopen
/website. - Starter claim failed
- Move away from other claims and place another chest after confirming you have no active starter claim.
- Invalid workplace
- Check its role blocks, claimed bed, door, light, path, and 60-second registration time.
- Vendor unlicensed
- The regional catalog is already too complete; establish the profession in another market region.
- Bank options missing
- Move close to a qualified Banker or the branch’s vault Ender Chest.
